To collect the items without wastage, you will first have to place down the shulker box and then fill some items from your inventory to the shulker box to make space for the dropped items. Then you can collect the dropped items and break the shulker box to collect it. This is an absolute inconvenience! Drops Into Shulker Mod allows you to hold a shulker box in your offhand to collect dropped items directly into the shulker box.
