Spartan Shields Mod adds many new shields to Minecraft. Instead of just one type, you can craft shields from materials like stone, iron, gold, diamond, and obsidian. The mod also works with other mods, letting you create shields from materials like copper, bronze, steel, and silver. Each shield has different durability, and some have special abilities. You can also craft larger Tower Shields, which are stronger and can be decorated with banners.

- Craft a wide variety of new shields using materials from vanilla Minecraft and other mods.
- Build two types of shields: standard shields and larger, more durable Tower Shields.
- Decorate your Tower Shields by applying banners to them.
- Start with a basic wooden shield and upgrade it with stronger materials.
- The Bulky Obsidian Shield offers high durability but slows you down when equipped.
- Use a Silver Gilded Shield to hurt undead mobs that attack you while you’re blocking.
- Most shields can be enchanted in an Enchanting Table.
New Enchantments:
- Spikes: Gives a chance to inflict damage back to any mob that hits the shield.
- Firebrand: Causes your shield bash to set the target on fire.
- Payback: Absorbs a portion of blocked damage to boost the power of your next shield bash.
How to Use:
- Start by crafting a Crude Wooden Shield. This is the base for many other shields.
- You can also make a Wooden Tower Shield, which allows banners to be applied to it.
- To create a stronger shield, place an undamaged wooden shield in a crafting table with a better material like iron or diamond.
