Some of the new animals can be tamed or befriended:
- Lammergeier: Tame it with a bone.

- Feral Wolf: Tame it with a bone, but you must be wearing an Ender Dragon head or a Hirschgeist Skull.
- Goat: Feed it animal foods like wheat or carrots to make it friendly. It will help protect you when you’re attacked.
- Octopus: Feed it any kind of fish to befriend it. It will also defend you.
