Lightstones Mod introduces a new light source that will work underwater and fit seamlessly into the vanilla game. It adds light stones to Minecraft, which can be literally translated as stones with light, which is what they are. You’ll need a new ore to create it. Now you can light up the world with small stones that look like gemstones, but they also glow. The stones drop only from ores and cannot be crafted.
