In the vanilla game, it is odd that a villager still offers you trades even after you, in some way, destroy their village. Selfish Villager Mod is here to change that mechanic. This mod makes it so that, if a villager sees you breaking some of the blocks within the range of the village, he will abstain from trading with you. The villager essentially punishes you for destroying their property. The villager will also communicate with other villagers, which will prevent them from interacting with you. By default, breaking chests and barrels will be noted by villagers as harm. Breaking grass and flowers will not trigger them.
