Kitsune Origin Mod is an addon for the Origins Mod. The mod is inspired by kitsune – fox spirits from Japanese mythology, transforming the player into an “ancient fox spirit” that is both revered and feared. This mod offers a blend of speed, magic, and vulnerabilities, making the player a nimble but fragile “sidekick”

Features:

Powers

Speed and High Jumping: Runs 40% faster and can jump 3 blocks high while sneaking. No fall damage.
Stealth and Movement: Sculk sensors do not detect you when walking, running, or landing. Particles surround you during movement, creating a magical effect.
Special Diet: Berries are more filling, quickly replenishing the hunger bar. No damage taken when passing through berry bushes.
Fox Magic: Can dash forward or become invisible and phase through certain objects (but not all, e.g., bedrock or obsidian). Some versions include the ability to shoot fire (like a blaze) or heal when dealing damage (with a cooldown).
Other: Smaller than normal (scaled model), has slight night vision, and an expanded inventory (9 additional slots in some variants).

Weaknesses

Low Health: Only 6-8 hearts instead of 10, making you more vulnerable to death.
High Hunger: Eats more (enormous hunger) and may weaken when hungry (e.g., speed boost when low on health in some versions).
Armor Restriction: Cannot wear chain armor, leather armor, or netherite armor – only metal armor or enchanted books are allowed.
Other Weaknesses: Can apply the Wither effect to enemies but suffers from weakness; avoids water or fire depending on the variant; cannot sleep in some cases.
