Potassium & Sulfur's Gunpowder Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – New Uses for Gunpowder

Potassium & Sulfur’s Gunpowder Mod adds Potassium and Sulphur Ores, which allows you to craft Gunpowder, which you can normally only get by killing Creepers.

Features:

Potassium ore:

Potassium ore only generates in the Overworld, while the Sulphur ore spawns both in the Overworld (in deepslate too) and the Nether.

Saltpetre:

• It is a chemical compound with the chemical formula KNO3.
• This is also known as Indian saltpetre (because large deposits of which were historically mined in India). It is an ionic salt of potassium (ions).
• K+ and nitrate ions NO3−, and is therefore an alkali metal nitrate.
• Niter (or nitre in the UK). It is a source of nitrogen, and nitrogen was named after niter.

Crafting Recipes:

First you need to craft the Saltpetre by mixing Potassium, Rotten Flesh, and Bone Meal.

The potassium can be obtained by smelting the Raw potassium.

Then after that, you will be finally able to Craft thy Gunpowder. Now, using Saltpetre, Sulphur and Coal/Charcoal (and sugar if you want to increase the gained amount).

If you have any gunpowder in excess, you may use it to make amazing throwable Explosive Bundles (name suggestions are appreciated).

Keep in mind that the Potassium Block explodes when in contact with water (but if you don’t like this, simply turn the gamerule doPotassiumBlockExplode to false or wax them like the vanilla copper).
