Lingering Loot Mod (1.12.2, 1.7.10) – Custom Dropped Item Despawn Times

Lingering Loot Mod is a mod about customizing those spinning dropped items. This mod allows you to set the time for the disappearance of dropped or thrown items in Minecraft, so you can throw items away without worrying that they will disappear. Additionally, the block disappearance animation has been changed. Now, before disappearing, the mod will start to sway up and down.

Features:

This mod has a config file where you can adjust the time needed for items to disappear, but by default, the mod has quite good parameters:

• By default, all items in the game disappear after 300 seconds, i.e., 5 minutes.
• After installing the mod, it will be like this:
• Items from creative mode or /give – 60 seconds.
• Dropped by mobs – indefinitely.
• Other items – 900 seconds (15 minutes).
• Items dropped upon your death – 3600 seconds (1 hour).
• Mined blocks – indefinitely.
• Items thrown by the player – indefinitely.
• The mod also has a “trash” parameter, where you can specify any blocks for this parameter and set a specific time for them. By default, the mod considers cobblestone, granite, snowballs, andesite, and diorite as trash, and they will disappear after 300 seconds. The config is located at: .minecraftconfiglingeringloot.cfg and can be opened with a text editor.
