This puts you in a situation where you have to choose between the superior protection of the Netherite boot, or the leather boot’s ability to protect you from falling into powdered snow. This trade-off can be an inconvenience for many. But not anymore! Crystal Nest Leathered Boots Mod is here to your rescue. As the name suggests, this mod allows you to leather your boots. You can now apply a layer of leather to any boot variant of your choice and it will prevent you from falling into powdered snow. The instructions on how to leather your boots are given below.

Craft a leathering smithing template using the recipe given below and use it to leather your boots as shown below, on a smithing table.

You can combine the leathered boot with a dye using a crafting table to color it.
