What’s the story behind Prometheus?

A few humans discover multiple painting from different cultures around the world, cultures that could have never possibly met, so being the smart humans we are, we come to a conclusion that someone or something is inviting us to visit them. Each of the paitings point to three stars in the sky or rather planets in this case. We decide to go on an expedition that will take over a few years to reach the destination and when we finally get there, we regret it. The planet found at that location was infested with hostile life, and is actually more of a testing site created by the engineers.

What type of stuff does the mod add?

Currently the mod only adds a dimension, a few blocks, and a few items, including armor.
