Void Above Nether Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) – No More Travelling Above The Nether

If you try going upwards in the Nether dimension, you will find yourself obstructed by a layer of bedrock. If you have played the game for a while, you must know that this bedrock layer can easily be clipped through to move further up. All it takes is a ladder and an ender pearl to do this. Clipping up above this bedrock layer will expose a large and empty space that is useful for a variety of purposes. This space can be used to build highly efficient Nether farms, or to travel long distances without any obstructions. But what if you do not want players on your server, or players using your modpack to access this area. Well if that’s the case, Void Above Nether Mod is for you. As the name suggests, this mod introduces a void above the upper bedrock layer of the Nether dimension. This void works similar to the void below your world and will quickly deal damage and kill a player once he enters it, even in creative mode. Not even a Totem of Undying can help.
