If you have ever tried transporting a mob from one place to another by tying them on a lead, you would know how difficult the process is. The lead may break if you increase your travel speed and you may end up losing the mob if not careful. This is often a tiresome and exhausting process. The same can be said for transporting villagers using boats. If easier mob transportation is something you are looking for, then Ride Along Mod is for you. This mod adds two major mechanics that will make mob transportation in Minecraft a breeze. The first mechanic is for two seater rideables like boats. If you are riding a boat and want to place another mob, like a villager, in the passenger seat, all that you have to do is to press ctrl + right-click on the villager. It is important to note that you have to be in the driver’s seat while doing this. The second mechanic allows you to let smaller mobs ride larger mobs. This is done by attaching the larger mob (eg: horse) on a lead pressing ctrl + right-click on the smaller mob (eg: cat).
