Caves and Katanas Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – New Weapon Class

Caves and Katanas Mod introduces a brand new weapon class into the game. These are the new Katanas, and they come in many different variants. First, we have the classic wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond and netherite variants. But this mod goes a bit farther and adds katanas made of emerald, glowstone, coal, packed ice and magma blocks. These katanas deal special effects to hit mobs. The katanas deal slightly less damage than swords, but have a faster attack speed. The ability to deal successive attacks at a faster speed makes the katana a substitute for swords.

• Coldtana: Crafted using packed ice, gives slowness on hit.
• Magma: Crafted using magma blocks, sets target on fire on hit.

• Glowstone: Crafted using glowstone blocks, gives glowing on hit.
