Roost Re-hatched Mod introduces a new mob into the game. This is the Roost, a fast flightless bird, which is now a mostly extinct species. Players can tame them using grubs. They can be found held captive in a new structure called Roost Rider Outpost. Once tamed, they will follow you around until you command them to sit down. They are very fast and can glide around in the air for around ten seconds. They are also immune to fall damage. You will also come across a different variation of the roost called the roost rider. The roost rider is just a roost that is being ridden by a illager. They will participate in raids too. They move very fast, so be careful when fighting them. Furthermore, the mod adds certain roost themed items like grubs, grub salad, roast egg, Featherlite charm and Voidlite charm. The Voidlite charm will save you from the void once, it works by teleporting you to the last solid block you were standing on.
