Anyone who has played Minecraft would know that undead mobs like zombies and skeletons, when exposed to sunlight, will start burning immediately and will die unless they find water or shade. Pale Mod expands upon this detail by adding a new player effect to the game. This new player effect, called Pale, will cause affected players to become sensitive to sunlight. Just like zombies, these affected players will start burning under sunlight if they do not find water or shade to cool themselves. Currently, the only way a layer can get infected with this effect is by eating rotten flesh.
