You will have to build storage systems with hundreds of chests to store just one type of item. If storage is an issue that you face in your world, Create Compression Mod is for you. This mod is an add-on for the Create mod, that allows you to compress blocks from a range of 1x to 9x. This means nine of any block can be placed into a 3×3 crafting grid to obtain a 1x compressed block. Then nine of 1x compressed blocks can be crafted into a 2x compressed block. And so on until 9x. This means you can store over 380 million blocks in a single block.
