BetterFps Mod makes Minecraft run smoother by changing some of the game’s calculations. It offers several improvements that can help reduce lag and increase performance, both for players and on servers.

Features:
- Changes the math algorithms for sine and cosine to speed up calculations.
- Removes a 10MB RAM pre-allocation, which can help save memory in large modpacks.
- Gives you an option to remove fog, which can reduce lag.
- Optimizes hoppers so they don’t constantly check for items when they don’t need to.
- Improves beacon performance by making their code more efficient.
- Speeds up the creative mode search bar, preventing freezes in modpacks with many items.
- Lets you enable or disable every improvement through a configuration menu.
Algorithms:
- Riven’s, Full, and Half algorithms usually offer the best performance boost.
- Taylor’s and Java Math algorithms may perform worse than the default Minecraft setting.
- The LibGDX algorithm is very similar to Riven’s, with a few small changes.
How to Use:
- To adjust the mod’s settings, go to the Options menu and find the ‘BetterFps Options’ button.
- In some versions of the mod, you can also press F12 while in-game to open the configuration screen.
