A simple mod that allows the player to capture and release mobs for easy transport.
The "diamond" Mob Catcher will capture/release passive mobs.
The "netherite" Mob Catcher will capture/release hostile mobs.
Does not work on boss mobs (e.g. Dragon, Wither, etc.). Works on passive mobs (animals, villagers, squid, fish, etc.)
There is a datapack mode that can be enabled via the config. A sample datapack is available in the Datapacks channel on our Discord channel. The datapack allows you to customize which mobs the mob catchers work on.
