Scarper Mod (1.16.5, 1.12.2) – Run Away From Danger

The Scarper Mod includes a new function that encourages stupid animals to flee danger when they perceive other members of their group being attacked. In Minecraft, animals won’t pay attention to the world around them unless it directly impacts them. This means that if you assault the animals around them without impacting the animal itself, the animals won’t worry about what you’re doing. Therefore, Scarper Mod was developed to assist foolish animals in fleeing danger and protecting themselves. Scarper is a very lightweight Forge patch that alters the behavior of passive monsters when they observe a player assaulting other creatures. It does this by modifying their perception of the player. If you have this mod installed, when you assault a passive mob, other passive monsters within a distance that you can configure will flee from the player if they try to come too close. The mod can be customized to only cause one type of passive mob to flee from the player, or it can be configured to force all types of passive mobs to flee from the player.
