Fixed Shields Mod (1.19.4, 1.18.2) – Making The Shield Feels Better

Fixed Shields Mod tweaks the Shield by changing the tick rate from 5 to 0, thus making the equipping of these shields much faster. At the same time, Fixed Shields is a server-sided Mod that allows the multiplayer experience to be improved as well. For long, fighting with the shield is not as efficacious due to the fact that switching between it and the blade has a short delay of 5 tick rates, therefore, it is not as reliable as other fighting styles. With Fixed Shields, however, players would soon realize that the shields will soon reign superior due to how smooth it is compared to the vanilla version. Furthermore, players can use this shield to easily parry and block against enemies’ firepowers and drink potions without worrying about not switching back to the shield in time. Such a minor change would ameliorate the combat experience greatly.

Features:

• The Shield Equipping Tick rate is reduced from 5 down to 0 in order to facilitate combat.
