The Backrooms Mod 1.16.5 adds into the game a tale rather than a dimension. A contentious story nowadays relates to the existence of a dimension in the gaming world. While quite a few people are sworn that they saw these secret “backrooms” when they were “no-clipped” in a game, the opponents of this bizarre story refer to its nature being nothing more than a bug. Overall, the idea of a backroom does seem to be similar to a creepypasta rather than something with concrete evidence. But if you’ve ever been on the internet, you’ll know that they will stop at nothing until their theories are proven. Consequently, many fake screenshots, modded maps were created, and while those don’t serve a purpose in proving the existence of the backrooms, they act as catalysts for future modding inspirations. The Backrooms can be described as a room that exists out of the original world, where everything seems oddly off. This idea left people confused and horrified. Thus a whole new mod was created for the Minecrafters to experience its uncanniness.
