Better Badlands Mod (1.16.5) – Expanding Upon the Lackluster Badlands Biome

Better Badlands Mod improves Minecraft’s badlands biome with a few new features like improved generation and new blocks.

Features:

Kindling:

Kindling is a new block that also comes in slab and stair variants (and vertical slabs if Quark is installed). It’s crafted with 4 dead bushes in a square (alternatively, if Quark is installed, you can use stick bundles). When lit on fire, it’ll spread wildly to other kindling blocks, and then eventually break into a bunch of twigs. It’s great to use for a trap or a fuse.

Small Dark Oak Trees:

Single dark oak saplings can now be grown into small dark oak trees! In addition to making dark oak wood more easily farmable, these new dark oak variants also replace oak trees in Wooded Badlands Plateau and Dark Forest biomes.

Terracotta Lamps:

Terracotta lamps are a new block crafted with a lantern surrounded by 4 terracotta of any color. They come in all 17 terracotta colors, and have unique textures that could be used for tiles. They also emit light, but only in the direction they’re facing, allowing you to have a 1-sided light source.
