Mirage Orb Mod 1.12.2 adds in a single item – the Mirage Orb. It requires some Prismarine Crystals and an Eye Of Ender to craft, and when right clicked will spawn a ghost of the player which will cause all mobs currently attacking the player to attack it instead! It won’t hang around for long though, so it can be useful as a distraction for a quick get-away. (The cooldown of the Mirage Orb item and the lifetime of the player ghost is configurable in the mod configs.)
How to use:
Right-click the Mirage Orb to create a ghost of yourself. Attacking mobs will think this is you. Its has 40.0s cooldown. (The cooldown of the Mirage Orb item and the lifetime of the player ghost is configurable in the mod configs.)
