Peyro's Scythe

Description
This mod is an add-on for Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, adding content from the light novel Savior from The Abyss (来自深渊的我今天也要拯救人类), such as the protagonist Peyro’s scythe "Captain Greg", and spells like Glacier Fall, Death Smoke, and Sinfire Embrace.

Not having read the novel won’t affect your experience with this mod — using these spells and items doesn’t require any knowledge of the story or setting. 

The mod includes configurable settings for attributes and mechanics, such as spell and effect multipliers, skill cooldowns, weapon attributes and health regeneration.
In addition, the Death Smoke Erosion entity blacklist, as well as the list of bosses that drop the Lost Medal of the Pontifical Knight and Heart of the Wintermoon, can be customized via the datapack tag system, allowing players or modpack creators to tailor the experience.

Note: The spells Crimson Moon、Frost Hell and Made In Heaven are not in the novel; they were added purely out of my personal interest.

Note: Since TeamPotato doesn’t have a dedicated artist, I created the textures myself, so they may differ significantly from the quality of professional pixel art.Therefore, updates are slow, and some planning spells, even if technically feasible in code, cannot be further developed.

Items

霜裁 / Ice Judgement

• A tribute to Peyro’s ice-sculpted scythe in the original novel. Comes with the Frost Hell spell by default. Craftable.

“格雷船长” / "Captain Greg"

• Peyro’s signature scythe. Craftable in both transformable and non-transformable versions.
• Transformable version: Sneak + Right Click in air to switch into lance form.

格雷船长甜甜圈 / Captain Greg Donut🍩

• One of Peyro’s favorite foods in the original novel. A hidden easter egg food item.

失落的教宗骑士勋章 / Lost Medal of the Pontifical Knight

• The discarded medal of Peyro’s Pontifical Knight title. Increases Eldritch spell power. Obtained by killing certain bosses (Undead King) with Holy spells.

冬月之心 / Heart of The Wintermoon

• An heirloom of the Wintermoon family. Increases ice-type spell power and other attributes, and allows the wearer to walk on powder snow. Obtained by killing certain bosses (Undead King) with Ice spells.

Spells⭐

冰山坠落 / Glacier Fall ❄

• Stronger Ice Block. Summon a massive iceberg above the target’s head and let it crash down. Higher spell levels produce larger icebergs.

冰陨雨 / Icy Comet Rain ❄

• Call down a shower of icy comets. Stronger levels bring heavier storms. Anything unlucky enough to be pelted too often in a short time will end up frozen solid.

寒霜地狱 / Frost Hell ❄

• Smash the ground with your weapon to unleash a frost shockwave in a frontal cone. Damage scales with your weapon.

冰霜世界 / The Frozen World ❄

• Instantly lowers the surrounding temperature, creating snow and ice. Creatures close to the caster take damage based on their maximum health and are immediately frozen, while an frost fog is generated.

死烟吞噬 / Death Smoke 😈

• Engulf enemies in corrosive death smoke. Once the corrosion becomes severe enough, the target dies instantly, restoring your health and mana.

混沌温床 / Cradle of The Chaos 😈

• Center yourself to create a wide field of Abyssal Swamp and Death Smoke. Enemies within suffer Death Smoke damage over time based on their maximum health (killing an enemy restores health and mana). While you stand in the swamp, you gain Abyssal Grace: prevents your next death. When Abyssal Grace triggers, the mud disperses. Only one of your mud fields can exist per dimension.

Young For You 😈

• Transforms the target creature into its baby form. If the spell level is 2 or higher, the target will no longer grow.
• The inspiration for this spell comes from the phenomenon of certain characters in the novel “no longer growing up.” The name Young For You is taken from the song of the same name by the band GALA.

伪·黑焰之翼 / Black Flame Wings (Fake) 😈

• Alter version of Angel Wings. Condense the chaotic fire into wings of black flame, consuming Mana continually, and gaining additional Eldritch Spell Power, Spell Resist, armor toughness, and movement speed.

混沌黑焰 / Black Fireball of Chaos 😈

• Hurl black chaotic fireball that explodes and splits apart. Black Fire deals minor damage based on the target's maximum health and inflicts the Death Smoke Erosion effect.

幻灭·恐惧 / Illusion: Be Fear 😈

• Fill the target with fear, forcing it to flee from the caster. Cannot coexist with Disillusion: Crazy. Ineffective against certain creatures.

幻灭·疯狂 / Illusion: Be Crazy 😈

• Drive the target into madness, causing it to attack nearby non-caster-allies. Cannot coexist with Disillusion: Fear. Ineffective against certain creatures.

业火焚身 / Sinfire Embrace 🔥

• Set yourself in fire to gain powerful health regeneration and ignite enemies on attack. Killing creatures extends the duration, but the effect ends immediately if the flames go out.
• If you cast it in Creative Mode, it won't take effect as the fire can not be lit.

真理之门派对 / "The Gate of Truth Party" 🔥

• Summon the fanatical followers of the Gate of Truth (well, actually Blazes) to fight by your side with shooting Firebolt for you. There is about 20% chance to summon a Senator with greater health and infinite health regeneration effect.

赤月 / Crimson Moon 🩸

• Raise the Crimson Moon, applying Moon Frenzy to all creatures within range: increases attack damage, attack speed, Blood spell power, and restores Crimson Moon's owner's health when dealing damage.

尼禄枢机的圣光射线 / Holy Ray of Cardinal Nero ☀

• Briefly unleashes a piercing beam of holy light, dealing additional damage based on the target's missing health.

圣枪 / Holy Lance ☀

• Shoot a holy lance that pierces through targets.

圣钟 / Holy Bell ☀

• Summon the Holy Golden Bell to suppress your foes. Entities within its range will move extremely slowly, with reduced attack power and attack speed.
