This creature appears near you when you’re in an area with a light level of 2 or lower. Standing still in the dark will only cause more of them to spawn. The Grue is immortal and deals nearly infinite damage, so you cannot fight it directly. The only way to get rid of it is to run into a brighter area. When the light level is higher than 2, the Grue will disappear in a puff of smoke.

Features:
- Introduces a new monster, the Grue, that hunts players in the dark.
- Grues spawn when the light level is 2 or lower.
- The monster is immortal and cannot be killed by normal means.
- A single hit from a Grue is fatal.
- To defeat a Grue, you must expose it to a light level higher than 2, causing it to vanish.
- Staying in a dark area for too long can cause multiple Grues to appear.
Configuration:
This mod includes many options to customize your experience:
- Biome Whitelist/Blacklist: Control which biomes Grues are allowed or forbidden to spawn in.
- Dimension Whitelist/Blacklist: Restrict Grue spawning to specific dimensions.
- Grue Spawn Timer: Change how long it takes for a Grue to spawn in the dark.
- Wimp Mode: A setting that reduces the Grue’s damage, making it non-lethal and removing its armor-piercing ability.
- Warning Text: Toggle on-screen warnings when you are in a dark area.
- Moon Phase Spawning: Set Grues to only spawn during specific moon phases.
