Blood Moon Mod adds a scary nighttime event to your world. Every night, there is a small chance that a Blood Moon will rise, making the world more dangerous. During this event, monsters will spawn faster and closer to you on the surface. You also can’t sleep through the night to skip the danger. The sky, moon, and light will all turn a spooky red, and the fog will become black, creating a creepy atmosphere. The increased monster spawns do not happen in caves, so you can hide underground to stay safe.

Blood Moon Mod

Features:

Adds a special Blood Moon event with a 5% chance of happening each night.
Makes monsters spawn much faster and closer to the player.
Increases the total number of monsters that can spawn on the surface.
Prevents you from sleeping in a bed to skip the night.
Changes the visuals of the night, turning the moon, sky, and light red.
Adds black fog for a spookier visual effect.
The dangerous effects only apply to the surface, not in caves or underground.

Configuration:

The 5% chance for a Blood Moon to occur can be changed in the config file.
You can change a setting to allow sleeping through a Blood Moon night.
There is an option to make all monsters spawned during the event vanish at dawn.
