Rough Mobs Mod makes some of Minecraft’s regular mobs much harder to fight. This mod gives many creatures new abilities and more health to create a tougher challenge. You can also customize mob stats like max HP, speed, and attack damage to your liking through its config file.

Rough Mobs Mod

Features:

General Changes

Mobs no longer attack each other, like when a Skeleton accidentally hits another mob.
Many mobs have an increased follow range, so they will spot you from further away.
You can configure mobs to be aggressive towards animals and villagers.

Zombies

Spawn with random enchanted armor and weapons.
Have a chance to spawn riding a Zombie Horse.
A small chance to spawn as a stronger boss zombie with better drops.
Apply a stacking hunger effect to their targets.
Have increased health (30 HP) and better knockback resistance.
Baby Zombies now burn in sunlight.

Skeletons

Spawn with random enchanted armor.
Always have a bow and a sword/axe, and will switch between them depending on distance.
Can spawn riding a Skeleton Horse.
Have a small chance to spawn as a boss.
Have increased health (30 HP).
Shoot arrows much faster.
Skeletons in the Nether will always spawn as Wither Skeletons.

Creepers

Become invisible when near a player.
Move much faster.
Explode faster and have a larger explosion radius.

Spiders & Cave Spiders

No longer take fall damage.
Apply a stacking slowness effect. The fifth hit will place a web on the target.
Can spawn with another mob riding them.

Endermen

Always drop at least one ender pearl.
Will teleport players away who attack them.
Can apply blindness or nausea to targets.
Can steal the item a player is holding.

Other Mob Changes

Slimes: Have more HP, jump further, and cause more knockback. Small slimes can stick to your head.
Witches: Apply random effects to nearby entities and spawn bats on death.
Silverfish: Can split into two when attacked.
Blazes: Have more health, explode on death, and can ignite players who get too close.
Ghasts: Have more health, are immune to projectiles, and drop TNT on players below them.
Withers: Have double the health (600 HP), knock attackers away, and summon Wither Skeletons.
