Genesis of Desolation Mod 1.12.2 (New Desert Dimension)

Genesis of Desolation Mod 1.12.2 adds a new desert dimension consisting of mostly flatlands and mountains.

• Desert dimension
• Ruins containing loot pots
• Cobalt Ore (+ tools & armour)
• Caves & web caves (with cave spiders)
• Overworld portal structure
• Sun flare event (Flares will strike the world – you had better hide underground)
• Custom music – 1 track (by me!)
• A fair bit of lag
• Various dimension-exclusive biomes

  • Boulder Field
  • Dried Lake
  • Spikelands
  • Oasis (& shore)

To get to the dimension you will need to find a portal structure in the overworld desert. Don’t break the blocks around the portal or it will be destroyed! To get back to the overworld you will need to find an underground portal structure in the dimension.
