Railway Depot Worker

Railcraft mainline development is in hiatus and stuck in 1.12.2 for years, and there are bugs to be fixed. So here it is.

What did you fix?

• Fixes custom rolling machine recipes with certain size being incorrectly displayed in JEI. (Railcraft/Railcraft#2120)
• Aggressively fixes FPS drop when some Railcraft machines are running, e.g. boiler. (Railcraft/Railcraft#2121)
• Allows worldspike to stack fuels to item's own maximum stack size. (Railcraft/Railcraft#2082)
• Fixes some outfitted track GUIs showing raw translation key as title. (Railcraft/Railcraft#2097)
• Fixes crash upon opening GUI of RF Loader / Unloader, making them usable. (Railcraft/Railcraft#2098)
• Fixes "Carts" label flying out of window in Activator Track GUI
• Provide alternative recipes for electrodes, allowing inputs to be in any column.
  • Previously, to craft electrodes, all inputs must be in the central column.
• Fixes loots in minecarts being duplicated in mineshaft generation

• Automatically revives MystCraft dimensions that has Worldspike (aka World Anchor) in it after server restart. (3TUSK/RailwayDeoptWorker#6)
• Fixes Hopper Cart duplicating items (3TUSK/RailwayDeoptWorker#9)
• EXPERIMENTAL: provides an option to not register texture for other fluids, solving the ExU2 missing fluid texture issue. (3TUSK/RailwayDeoptWorker#10, Kanzaji/XU2-Patcher#1, rwtema/Extra-Utilities-2-Source#436 and possibly many other)
• Also contains fixes from ACGaming's fork:
  • Fixes crashes when breaking bottom layer of a completed water tank (Railcraft/Railcraft#2101)
  • Fixes Steam Turbine not forming when using IC2Classic (Railcraft/Railcraft#2040)
  • Fixes tooltips are not shown in Steel Anvil GUI (Railcraft/Railcraft#2093)

But that beta message...?

By default, Railcraft will give you a scary warning if you use the beta version of the mod. This is expected; beta version of any softwares are prune to bugs. 

However, as we are fixing issues left in Railcraft, we (have to) alter the base code of Railcraft. Things may be broken because of our fixes. To that end, we replace the beta warning message with our own warning message, to make sure all Railcraft-related issues are reported to our side first when our mod is installed. 

Check our configuration files if you need to fine-tune this behavior. 

 

Which version of Railcraft does this mod support? Which version should I use?

This mod works with either the original Railcraft, or ACGaming's fork.

This mod works in Minecraft 1.12.2 ONLY.

Examples of supported versions include: 12.0.0, 12.1.0-beta-8

 

Do you accept new features, like a new cart or new locomotive?

Unfortunately no. This mod is intend to fix issues left in Railcraft; it does not want to add new things. New contents should be in a separate addon mod, in my opinion.
