Forget your old knowledge of Vanilla and Create crafting. In Create: Beyond Cosmos, the equipment and component recipes have been completely overhauled. Progress requires embracing a new, hands-on manufacturing philosophy.

• Emphasis on Direct Tool Interaction: Simple starting components cannot be made on a Crafting Table. To craft essential items, you must directly interact with specific blocks, using a dedicated tool to process materials through multiple, successive manual steps. This intensive, hands-on process raises the initial difficulty and maximizes the necessity for automated Create setups later on.

• The Smithing Template Mandate: Tools and armor are no longer assembled traditionally. All equipment must be crafted or upgraded using the Smithing Template system, enforcing a linear and strategic progression path for your gear.
