Bigger Globe

This modpack is based around the terrain generation of the Big Globe mod. The modpack includes many performance and graphical mods including Sodium, Iris, and C2ME. Both the client and server support Distant Horizons, with or without the included shaders. Little has been changed about the actual gameplay other than very early game, which requires the player to gather basic materials to craft tools to cut down their first tree.

This modpack is intended to have the client and server running seperately, as it decreases the chance of frame drops and severe lag. Singleplayer is still accessible by setting the server ip to "-singleplayer" in the options menu.

System requirements:

-Client only

• CPU: Anything decently powerful that can run the base game at a high framerate
• Free Memory: 4GB reccomended
• GPU: Minimum of GTX 1660, 3060 reccomended 
• Storage: N/A

-Client + Server/Singleplayer

• CPU: Minimum Ryzen 7 7700x or Intel equivalent
• Free Memory: 12GB minimum, 16+GB reccomended
• GPU: Minimum GTX 1660, 3060 reccomended
• Storage 5-10 GB free space

-Server Only

• CPU: Minimum Ryzen 7 7700x or Intel equivalent
• Free Memory: 12GB minimum, 16+GB reccomended (estimate around 8 GB used for every large area loaded in)
• GPU: N/A
• Storage 5-10GB, more if people travel very far from spawn

Server Setup:

1. Download the server pack.
2. Extract the files to your folder of choice
3. Run the server jarfile from command prompt with arguments for allocated memory
4. (Optional) Create a batch file to automatically run the server
