"Alp's Better Sulfur Cube" Give the sulfur cube 2 more mechanic,

There is "legacy version" = before sulfur cube releases

And "new version" = after sulfur cube releases

"Mojang revealed the Sulfur Cube at Minecraft LIVE 2026 as part of the **Chaos Cubed** drop (Java 26.2): a physics mob that absorbs blocks and changes behavior depending on what it's carrying. This datapack recreates that exact concept in fully vanilla Java, no mods required, playable today on Java 26.1.

How to Use

Right-click with a Carrot on a Stick with your main hand to spawn a Sulfur Cube. It automatically absorbs the nearest item on the ground within range, displays the block inside its body, then hit it to send it flying. Its physics change based on what block it absorbed.

Installation

1. Place the `.zip` into `.minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacks/`

2. Run `/reload` in-game

3. Grab a Carrot on a Stick and right-click to spawn

ℹ️ Note

This is a datapack prototype of the upcoming vanilla mob. Some behaviors will differ from the official implementation when Chaos Cubed releases. Destroy the cube by throwing a "Poisonous Potato" Into it.

Give the sulfur cube two more mechanic

1) sulfur cube can stack when pushed into each other

2) sulfur cube with potent sulfur inside of it will make a geyser when underwater.
