Axes Are Weapons Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Reduced Durability Loss

Axes Are Weapons Mod tackles the issue of axes wearing out too quickly during combat by reducing their durability loss from 2 points to 1, just like swords. It also allows players to obtain loot using axes as weapons.

Additional features include:

• Optional effects like Knockback and Fire Aspect can be enabled in the config.
• Modified sword enchantments are available for axes.
• Damage enchantments such as Sharpness, Bane of Arthropods, and Smite now appear directly in the enchanting table, eliminating the need for enchanted books.

Features:

• Axes lose only 1 durability point per hit (instead of 2), just like swords.
• You can now get mob drops using axes, making them viable for farming.
• Damage enchantments like Sharpness, Smite, and Bane of Arthropods appear directly in the enchanting table-no more relying on books.
• Knockback, Fire Aspect, and modded sword enchantments can be toggled on in the config.
• Includes features like fast cobweb breaking and an “All Tools Are Weapons” mode to customize what counts as a weapon.
