To craft the Boring Minecart you'll need a few things first. This first item you will need to make is an integrated circuit. Here is the crafting recipe for it:
The next item you will need to make is a motherboard. The motherboard requires 3 gold blocks and 6 integrated circuits to craft as shown below:
Now that you have a motherboard, you will need to craft a computer unit to handle the operations for the Boring Minecart. The recipe is shown here:
The next step is to craft the drill that will be used by the Boring Minecart. It requires 9 diamond pickaxes as shown below:
Now just craft the computer unit and the boring drill together (shapeless recipe) to make a boring unit:
Now all you have to do is craft the boring unit with a minecart to create a Boring Minecart:
To use the Boring Minecart, place rails down where you want the Boring Minecart to mine. Place the Boring Minecart on the rails and right click to open the control menu. You will need to add coal to the fuel inventory and rails to the rail inventory for the Boring Minecart to operate. The Minecart will stop if it encounters lava or a block it cannot place rails on. It is recommended to place it at y=11 for best results (that way lava can't destroy it).
