Upset the rapture never happened? Experience it in Minecraft instead! Or just terrify your friends by watching them get raptured, that's fine too.
The rapture takes you straight up to heaven, and if you want to go back to your regular Minecraft life you're going to have to get past Jesus himself. Good luck!
How it works:
There is a very a low chance a rapture event will be triggered (Rolls every 12000 ticks and has a less than 1% chance of happening each roll for the mathematically inclined). When that happens one player is chosen and sent to heaven, and it is announced to everyone. Once there, they'll find a Jesus boss (modified Illusioner) and Archangel Michael (modified Evoker). They must kill Jesus to be sent back to the overworld. Or get killed, but it might be hard to retrieve your things from heaven.
If you don't want stuff lost, I suggest playing with keepInventory. You are also welcome to open up this datapack and modify it to suit your own needs if you prefer.
