IR Amtrak+ [Immersive Railroading Pack]

THIS IS AN ADDON PACK FOR THE IMMERSIVE RAILROADING MOD. IT DOES NOT CHANGE STOCK TEXTURES.

!!! Release 5.0 discontinues support for deprecated stocknames. Either use version 4.0 as an intermediate to remove the old stock (shown as red DEPRECATED text), or purge old stock from your lines before updating to 5.0 !!!

 

For the best experience, also consider getting the Pacific Surfliner cars.

 

At last, modern North American passenger stock is realized in Minecraft. This pack aims to add modern standard-gauge stock for an Immersive Railroading system. 

NOTE: Due to the large length of a Superliner car (85"), it is recommended that you use a curve radius larger than 50. (75+ is the most ideal) 

 

On some curves, the cars may appear to separate. This is an artifact of how IR handles coupling on curves and cannot be fixed without an update to the mod. To minimize these issues, use a larger radius as specified above for your curves.

For the interior on some models, I reduced the number of seats abreast from 4 to 2, due to the wide nature of Minecraft players and villagers.
