Envelope Mod (1.21.1) – Build a Working Postal System with Flying Pigeons

Envelope Mod brings a fully working postal system to your world. It lets you send letters and packages to your friends using flying pigeons. You can set up mailboxes, write short notes, and even safely trade items across long distances. The birds handle all the travel, so you never have to leave your base to deliver goods.

Features:

Mails and Packages:

• Lets you write short letters when you just need to send a quick message instead of a large book.
• Adds cheap packages to help you pack up items and save space in your inventory.
• Allows you to seal your letters and packages so nobody else can change what is inside.
• Includes an address tag that opens a menu to help you pick exactly who gets your mail.

Pigeons and Mailboxes:

• Spawns friendly pigeons in mountain areas and near villages.
• Pigeons will happily follow you if you hold seeds in your hand.
• Wild cats, ocelots, and foxes will hunt the birds, so keep them safe.
• Adds pigeonholes where the birds can rest and leave behind useful items.
• Lets you place mailboxes and connect them to a mail network using three experience levels.
• Pigeons fly high above the clouds to travel fast and can easily deliver mail to faraway places.

Trading System:

• Lets you attach a payback tag to ask for specific items in return for your package.
• Keeps your items safe during a trade until the buyer pays the requested price.
• Gives the buyer a payback box to put their payment inside.
• Returns the package to you automatically if the buyer does not pay in time.

How to Use:

1. Place a Mailbox and spend 3 experience levels to give it an address.
2. Write a letter or pack items into a package, then use an Address Tag to choose where it goes.
3. Put your mail and some seeds inside the Mailbox.
4. Watch the front hatch open so a nearby pigeon can pick up the mail and fly away.
