Lightnings (Particle Effects) [1.13]

This plugin doesn't let you shoot those normal minecraft lightnings. The lightnings you get to shoot are custom ones, made out of particles.

Become a sith lord! An evil admin! A storm cloud! The only limit is your imagination. You can become and/or impersonate anything, that can shoot lightnings. You could even be a power outlet.


Well, not a lot commands in this plugin. In fact, only one.

For Christ's sake, you can shoot lightnings. If you haven't gotten that by now, you're probably wrong here.
The permission required to be able to shoot lightnings, as well as the item and more can be configured.
The behaviour of the lightning can also be adjustet in some ways.

How to use:
Get an item of the specified type (by default: a ghast tear)
Set it's name to the lightning item name (by default: &bLightning Rod)
Have yourself set the permission that is set in the config (by default: lightnings.electrocute)
Right click to shoot lightning



Just drop the .jar File into your plugins folder. I think you've done this before. You can absolutely do this. Then, start your server, the default config will create. You can then go ahead and adjust some values.


Events are fired when a player casts a lightning and when entities are being damaged by lightnings. These are cancellable and accessible (except the damage value, which is fixed, but for custom damage just remove certain entities and damage them yourself).
