If you use WorldGuard remember to let giant zombies spawn
To block other mobs you can simply use that command:
/rg flag <region name> deny-spawn PIG,SHEEP,COW,CHICKEN,HORSE,DONKEY,ZOMBIE,SKELETON,SPIDER,CREEPER,OCELOT,SLIME,PARROT,RABBIT
And remove the mob spawning deny flag
