LATEST UPDATE

In the latest update quarries now dig down to y=0, and also drop on the ground as an item when broken or finished.

Added persistence to quarries (they continue to work between server restarts). The previous update (1.1) added chest storage.

PLUGIN DESCRIPTION

This is a quarrying machine plugin!

The quarry is a block that digs out land. The setup is simple, place four redstone torches to mark where the quarrying will occur, then place a quarry block which will start the digging process.

The quarry block will bypass land protection from other plugins such as Citadel, Factions, and Towny!





Once the quarry block is placed, the digging will begin. The blocks mined will slowly break, and any chests broken will drop contents onto the floor. The harder a block is, the longer it will take to break. For example, obsidian takes longer to break than stone, and stone takes longer to break than grass.




The quarry will store items in any adjacent chests if possible.
If fuel is enabled, put the fuel chest above the quarry furnace, and put coal/charcoal in the chest.



There is a default recipe included for players to be able to make their own quarry machines.




The plugin is lightweight.

Quarries are persistent.
