BossTroll is a plugin project I started back in 2017. The goal is to create a tool that allows you to troll your friends and other players on your server and mess them up, which is always fun for both sides :^)
Since the old version of BossTroll was removed from SpigotMC, because of some unwanted features, I completely redesigned the concept and the code and made the result public on SpigotMC. Now BossTroll is one of the most powerful tools to troll players.
Now that you've heard why I developed this plugin, let's directly jump into what this plugin can do!
I divided the plugin into three major categories:
1. Player
This allows you to troll one certain player without affecting others.
DemoScreenTroll: The player will see a window which says that he needs to buy Minecraft before playing the game.
DropInventoryTroll: All items of the player's inventory are dropped to the ground.
FakeBanTroll: The player will get kicked with a ban message
FakeOperatorTroll: The player is sent a message which says that he is now an operator of the server.
FakeCheatTroll: The player cannot move on his own anymore. The plugin simulates that he has Glide or Fly hack enabled and sometimes teleports him back to the ground to simulate that the AntiCheat suspects him (this is actually one of my favorites
)FireRingTroll: A ring of fire blocks is spawned around the player
FreezeTroll: The player cannot move or fly anymore. He's frozen.
ItemRemoveTroll: This troll is especially fun if you are in a fight. When a player interacts with an item (for example his sword) it will get removed from his inventory
LavaBlockTroll: Every block the player breaks will turn into lava.
WaterBlockTroll: Every block the player breaks will turn into water.
MathTroll: The player is forced to solve a math problem, otherwise he will get killed.
RandomChatMessageTroll: A random chat message is picked from the config file and sent under the player's name.
2. Server
This allows you to troll all players on the entire server.
HackMessage: A message, some titles and sounds are broadcasted that the server is hacked at the moment.
TeleportAllTroll: All players are teleported to you.
3. Tools
A bunch of bows: There are six bows, which play effects when an arrow lands. For example, a creeper will spawn at that location or an explosion will occur, etc.
Minigun: Arrows a shot every 3 ticks (7 per second)
Snow canon: Shoots snowballs
Fireball: A fireball is launched from your location and causes an explosion when it hits the ground.
This shows the UI for the player trolls.
This shows that the plugin actually displays the window of the real Minecraft demo mode. This is achieved by sending certain packets to the client.

The plugin has only one command to control the entire plugin. This command is called "/troll". There are several aliases to access the command: /bosstroll, /bt
The permissions for that command can be changed in the config.yml.

The setup is pretty simple. Just download the zip folder and put the .jar file into your plugins folder.
Currently, the plugin is only compatible with Spigot 1.8.X servers, because the names of certain sounds change from version to version. My plan is to add as many features as possible to this version and then implement more versions step by step, which will increase the frequency of updates of this plugin. So newer versions like 1.13, etc. will follow

Here is what I planned for the future:
- Add "DestroyEarTroll": Lots of sounds are played at the same time, which will terrify your victim.
- Add "AirBoostTroll": A player is boosted into the sky
- Add a new feature category: "Cheats". You can enable cheats as if you were using a modified client.
