Description

EnderCoin is an exclusive investment currency created by the great minds at DBS Legit. These awesome coins can be bought using in-game money and stored / traded to be sold back at a later time. The coins grow in value based on how many coins are in circulation on the server!

The Rules

1. Each coin has a unique ID made up of 6 characters
2. A player can buy or sell coins for the current running price
3. Starting price for the coins can be configured in the config file
4. The more coins on the server, the more they grow in value
5. The number of coins, current price, and expected price increase can be viewed using the command /ecoin info
6. If all existing coins are sold back, the price returns back to the starting price
7. Each time a coin is sold back, it is destroyed
8. A coin’s value is increased at set intervals by this amount:
   (number of coins in circulation x growth factor)
9. Coins can be used as physical currency and traded between players

Example
(using growth-interval: 60 and growth-factor: 1.0)

Sally decides to invest in her future and buys 4 EnderCoins
Since she is the first player to ever buy, each coin costs $1,000 and her total comes out to $4,000

An hour passes, each coin is now worth $1,004, and she can potentially sell them back for $4,016. However, she decides to keep them. Smart move Sally.

Bobby wants some EnderCoins as well, so he buys 20 coins at the current price of $1,004. He pays $20,080 in total.

Another hour passes. Let’s see how much each coin is worth now?

20 coins (Bobby) + 4 coins (Sally) = 24 coins in circulation
24 x 1 = $24
$1,004 + $24 = $1,028

Now each coin is worth $1,028

Sally’s 4 coins are now worth $4,112 (a profit of $112)
Bobby’s 20 coins are now worth $20,560 (a profit of $480)

The longer you keep your coins, the more they’re worth.

Tips

• EnderCoins are meant to be very valuable, so it is recommended to set their base-value relatively high, forcing players to save up in order to buy them.
• Be careful not to set the growth-interval too short and not to set the growth-rate too high, otherwise the coins will gain value way too quickly and make your players insanely rich.
• You can tweak the config at any time to better fit your server's economy. Don't forget to reload the plugin when you change the config file.
