Block Players from sending you mail
MailBox is a plugin that allows users to send mail to other players, even when they are offline. This is a quite convenient plugin for servers that revolve around having team members. I highly recommend this plugin to servers where playing with other players is frequent, like Factions or Skyblock.
This plugin currently supports (and has only been tested on) 1.13x and 1.14x. If you test any other versions, please let me know in Discussions section of this page.
This plugin also uses bStats ( https://bstats.org/ ) to help me keep track of how many servers are using my plugin. Plugin also uses XMaterial ( https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/1-8-to-1-13-itemstack-material-version-support.329630/ ), a useful class for making ItemStacks compatible across versions.
Note : I recommend not touching any of the .yml files provided within the plugin. Please allow the plugin to handle that. As for config.yml, if you would like your server to be less laggy, set debug-mode to false . (It is already set to false by default)
The plugin requires:
- Spigot
- Java 8
There is only one command associated within the plugin, as most of the functions are controlled by GUI and Chat.
- /mail (/mailbox) - Opens the mail GUI.
- /mailfinished - Finishes a chat task. (A button is provided)
There is also only one permission, which is access to the command itself. Opped players have this permission by default, of course.
- mailbox.mail - Access to /mail and /mailfinished
There are a few features that may be implemented into the plugin in the future. Skim through the list and let me know if you would like to see any of them come to life.
- Vault Implementation - Would you like players to pay when sending mail? Let me know in the review/discussion section, and I'll be sure to add it if the demand for it rises.
- Send to ALL - If you're an admin and you want to send mail to every single person, a cool feature would be sending mail to all players of the server. This plugin could also become used as an MOTD plugin.
- Block ALL - This could potentially be another feature where you can block all players from sending mail to you.
- Lang file - Configure the messages players receive from chat, like the prefix and confirm messages like "Task successful", config, etc,.
- SQL - Have an SQL database? Want to widen the mail plugin across multiple servers? SQL can do that...
This is probably my first professional plugin that I've published on a professional level. If you would like to see more like this, please consider donating or at least leaving a review
. It would mean a lot to me.Quick facts
