Enchants Plus Mod (26.2, 1.21.1) – New Enchantments & Curses

Have you ever felt like the enchantments in the vanilla game are simply not enough? If you want more enchantments in the game, Enchants Plus Mod is for you. This mod introduces a collection of new enchantments into the game, along with some curses. Let us take a closer look at all of the enchantments in the next section.

Enchantments

Breeze Burst

• Supported Items: Bow
• Max Level: 1
• Found: as enchanted books in trial chamber normal vaults, librarian trades
• Description: Makes shot arrows spawn a wind charge upon impact with a block. Useful as a renewable alternative to wind charges.

Crab’s Touch

• Supported Items: Tools/Shears
• Max Level: 3
• Found: In shipwrecks, buried treasure, Ocean ruins, and trail ruins; librarian trades
• Description: Increases your block interaction reach, allowing you to break blocks from up to 7.5 blocks away with level 3. You can also put a tool enchanted with crab’s touch in your offhand to place blocks from far away.

Gluttony

• Supported Items: tools/sword/shears
• Max Level: 3
• Found: in enchantment table; librarian trades
• Description: Puts mined blocks directly into your inventory instead of dropping them as items. Level 2 works with crabs touch’s extended range and level 3 also collects xp.

Graviole

• Supported Items: elytra
• Max Level: 3
• Found: in end city loot chests
• Description: Makes your elytra resist gravity which increases flight duration but also prevents you from using gravity to accelerate yourself, causing slower flight speed.

Ice Aspect

• Supported Items: Sword
• Max Level: 2
• Found: guaranteed spawn in ancient city ice box chests, trial chamber normal vaults
• Description: Has 10% chance with level 1 and 20% chance with level 2 to freeze enemies for 3 seconds, making them immobile. Players are still able to move their camera and fight back while frozen. Incompatible with fire aspect and web snare.

Kinetic Protection

• Supported Items: Helmet
• Max Level: 4
• Found: enchantment table, random loot, villager trades
• Description: Protects you from elytra’s kinetic damage.

Luminosity

• Supported Items: Chestplate
• Max Level: 3
• Found: enchantment table; villager trades, random loot
• Description: Makes you emit a light level of 5 with level 1, 10 with level 2, and 15 with level 3.

Outreach

• Supported Items: Sword
• Max Level: 2
• Found: enchantment table; villager trades, random loot
• Description: Increases your attack reach to 4 blocks with level 2. Incompatible with Swift Strike.

Precision

• Supported Items: Bow, Crossbow
• Max Level: 2
• Found: enchantment table (crossbow only); villager trades, random loot
• Description: Reduces curve from projectile trajectory, increasing accuracy. Higher level increases range of effectiveness.

Pyrolysis

• Supported Items: Pickaxes, axes, shovels
• Max Level: 1
• Found: enchantment table; villager trades, random loot
• Description: Auto smelts mined blocks, incompatible with fortune and silk touch.

Retrieval

• Supported Items: Chestplate
• Max Level: 4
• Found: enchantment table; villager trades, random loot
• Description: Arrows shot at you have a chance to go into your inventory, effectively letting you steal it. Potion effects from tipped arrows are used up and lost when stolen. Higher level has more chance for arrow to be retrieved with an 80% chance at level 4.

Scorch Walker

• Supported Items: Boots
• Max Level: 2
• Found: villager trades, random loot
• Description: Lava counterpart of frost walker, creates magma blocks for you to walk on lava. Also protects you from magma and powder snow damage.

Skyguard

• Supported Items: Elytra
• Max Level: 4
• Found: end city loot chests
• Description: Basically the protection enchantment but for elytras.

Stride

• Supported Items: Leggings
• Max Level: 3
• Found: enchantment table; villager trades, random loot
• Description: Allows you to step up full blocks without jumping as if they were stairs.

Swift Strike

• Supported Items: Sword/axe
• Max Level: 5
• Found: enchantment table (sword only); villager trades, random loot
• Description: Decreases attack cooldown.

Toxic

• Supported Items: Bows/Crossbows
• Max Level: 1
• Found: enchantment table (crossbow only); villager trades, random loot
• Description: Makes arrows inflict poison on victim for 11 seconds. Undead mobs are immune to this enchantment.

Vitality

• Supported Items: Chestplate
• Max Level: 3
• Found: enchantment table, villager trades, random loot
• Description: Increases your max health to 13 hearts with level 3.

Web Snare

• Supported Items: Sword
• Max Level: 2
• Found: villager trades, random loot
• Description: There’s a chance a cobweb spawns under the victim, trapping them in it. Incompatible with the fire aspect and ice aspect.

Curses

Curse of Breaking

• Supported Items: All gear
• Max Level: 1
• Found: villager trades, random loot
• Description: Items break 4x faster when they are cursed with this.

Curse of Clumsiness

• Supported Items: Tools/weapons
• Max Level: 1
• Found: villager trades, random loot
• Description: When items enchanted with this curse are used to attack or mine, they have a chance to drop on the ground.

Curse of Displacement

• Supported Items: Weapons
• Max Level: 1
• Found: villager trades, random loot
• Description: Makes enemies teleport away sometimes. The algorithm will try to tp them behind you.

Curse of Double Edge

• Supported Items: Weapons
• Max Level: 1
• Found: villager trades, random loot
• Description: Weapons enchanted with this curse have a 40% chance to deal damage to you when used.

Modifications to vanilla enchantments

Power

• Change: Now works on crossbows

Sharpness

• Change: Now works on tridents

Silk touch

• Change: Now works on swords (for collecting cobwebs)
