If you are running on Velocity and IF you are using offline mode then maybe you had players complaining about this error!
A player has lost connection and as they try to join again they are not able to and they are faced with that message unable to join.
Best case scenarion the player will just complain to you, worst case the player will just give up and leave.
If you are using online mode then you can use this setting in the velocity config kick-existing-players , however you cannot use that setting when using offline mode.
This small plugin fixes this error so that when a player with the same username and IP tries to join the network any existing connections that match the new connection will be forcefully disconnected, essential acting almost like the kick-existing-players setting but its now compatible with offline mode.
NOTE
Because of the API limitation there is a limit to what I can do with a plugin, a player might still encounter this error but it will be rare and it will happen ONLY ONCE!
