PackageDrops - Falling Blocks contain loot!
PackageDrop is a Plugin, which adds (like the name says) PackageDrops to your Server.
A PackageDrop is a Block that falls from the skype, and contains items. You can specify which items
gets generated and how much. You can also allow some items only during days or during nights.
You can spawn Packages via a command, you can specify in the config files which items should appear.
There is also a Automatic-Drop that generates a Random Location each x amount of time and drops a Package there.
As last there is also a Luck system-which i´ll explain later.
Please notice that this is my second Plugin, and also these are early versions so there could be several bugs.
You can report every Bug you find here, and i´ll fix it as fast as possible!
/PackageDrop or /pd
/pd list
- Lists all Packages with coordinates, material and opened by player x.
Permission: PackageDrop.command.list
/pd spawn <block> <rarity> [player/x y z]
- Spawns the given Block as Package at the given position (if no position/player is given, it will be spawned at your location).
Permission: PackageDrop.command.spawn
And now as last: The Configuration.

#If you want that Blocks that were already opened will transform into a normal chest after a restart, set this to true.
#If its set to false, it will cause the Plugin to need more Memory, because it needs to handle all the materials as chests.

#Items that can appear everywhere
Items:

//Look at the "Item-Modifier"-Section below in this thread.
Item creating:
After the first start of the plugin, a items.yml file will pop-up in your
plugins/Packages folder.
A Item is created like the following:
ExampleItem: //The internal Name for this Item. No Duplicates!
Material: BLAZE_ROD //The Item´s Material
Damage: 0 //The Damage/Metadata of the Item
minAmount: 1 //The Minimum stackSize of the Item
maxAmount: 5 //The Maximum stackSize of the Item
Name: '&4Magic &8Stick' //The Ingame-Displayname. Supports Colorcodes with '&'
Lore:
- '&3Lore &71' //The Lore´s Rows. Supports Colorcodes with '&'
- 'Lore 2'
- 'Lore3'
- '...'
Rarity: 5 //The Item´s Rarity-Factor
In the items.yml will be some pre-generated items. You can delete them if you want.
Item Generation:
The dropped Packages of this Plugin won´t generate the Loot at their Landing.
They loot gets generated at the first package opening of the package. The Loots
rarity and the amount of items get calculated by the following modifiers:
The Player´s Luck Value (read below for more info)
The Package´s Luck Value (read below for more info)
The Maximum-Item amount (config)
The Item-Modifiers (read below for more info)
Player Luck:
Player Luck is a variable that each player got for himself. On the first login,
the players luck is set to the default value (config). For each opened package,
the players luck will get subtracted by the specified amount (config). This prevents
players from getting the rarest items on each opened chest. The Player Luck can
get disabled (config). If it´s disabled, this is just a random number.
Package Luck:
Each spawned package gets a random Luck Value. The higher this Value is, the rarer
is the loot.
Item-Modifiers:
Inside of the config is a chapter called 'ItemAppearings', with several lists inside.
The lists can hold items (use the internal Name of the item). The Lists should be
identified by their names, but anyway i´ll describe an example here.
There is a list called 'DayItems'. Put in here all Items that should only appear
if the package is first opened at daytime. You can put one item in more than one list.
If we put ExampleItem into DayItems and WorldItems the Item can appear in World but at
Nighttime, because it just checks for one given list-flag. By the way the List 'Items'
can appear everywhere at every time.

Latest Update:
Spoiler: 0.3
Hey. Version 0.3 got Released!
For the first i am going to change you what got removed (yes i removed things!)
- The Permission PackageDrop.main.updateNotification got removed. The Update Notification will now display in the Console upon server Start.
Now the things that changed:
- The config.yml entry setGeneratedToChest is now working like it should work.
- The UpdateChecker is now working. You´ll get notificated in the console.
- The command /reload doesn´t create errors with this Plugin anymore (But anyways please don´t use /reload!)
And as last the new Things:
- A language File! For now there are just 2 change-able Messages, but there will come more each update. The lang.yml file should create itself on the first server start with this version.
- Particles! Each Drop now creates Particles while they´re falling from the sky!
- Some new config entries:
- lightningStrike: true or false, enables or disables spawning of lightningstrikes at the drop-positions.
- dropParticles: true or false, enables or disables the flame particles of the drops.
Thats it for this Update. My Plan for the next update is the adding of a new Function: Controlled Drop. Just think of a Function where you can add locations where Packages can Drop. Idea by @MCMarter .

Read before updating!
This Plugin will reset your current config.yml to replace it with a newer version. Please make a copy of your old config.yml, so you can your values into the new config!
Please READ!
These are early versions, so please expect some bugs and report them to me. This Plugin is still w.i.p but i wanted to release it to get some feedback for the idea, and also some bug reports (if you find bugs and let me know about them, i can fix them much faster!)
Thanks. Now Have Fun!
Pictures created by @ViscousHurricane - thanks!
