Keep Inventory Pack - Description
The Keep Inventory Pack ensures that players retain specific gear and tools after death, preventing them from dropping upon respawn. This feature is useful in survival gameplay, reducing frustration from losing essential items while still maintaining the challenge of exploration and combat.
How It Works
- When a player dies, the script checks their inventory for items listed in the keptItems set.
- If any of these items are found, they are temporarily removed to prevent them from dropping on death.
- After the player respawns, the script restores the saved items back into their inventory.
- This process ensures that only selected weapons, armor, tools, and utility items (such as elytra, shields, and totems) are kept, while other inventory items behave normally and drop upon death.
This pack is great for players who want to keep key items without using a full keepInventory rule, providing a more balanced experience in survival worlds.
