Ranged Pumps 9minecraft Mod (26.3) – Extract Fluids Safely From Above

Ranged Pumps 9minecraft Mod adds a single pump block that extracts water or lava from any pool within its range – no complicated setup, no scaffolding down to fluid level, and no need to place the pump right at the edge of the source.

Place the pump anywhere above a body of water or lava, connect a pipe or tank to its output, and it will draw fluid from the pool below into your storage system. It works equally well on finite pools – draining them completely – or on infinite natural sources like lakes and lava lakes that regenerate on their own. The pump fits into any fluid transport system from popular mods, making it a clean starting block for automated fluid collection.

Features:

• Pumps water, lava, and modded fluids from a configurable area below the pump.
• No need to place the pump at fluid level – it reaches down into the pool from above.
• Drains finite pools completely or draws indefinitely from infinite sources.
• Connects to pipes and fluid tanks from popular mod loaders.
• Configurable pump range so you control how wide an area it covers.
• One block does all the work – no multiblock structure required.

How to Use:

• Craft a Ranged Pump and place it above the fluid source you want to collect from.
• Connect a pipe or fluid tank to the pump output face.
• Provide a redstone signal or set it to always-on mode.
• The pump will begin drawing fluid from the pool below into your connected storage.

Configuration:

A config file is generated at .minecraft/config/rangedpumps-common.toml. The main settings are:

• pump_range (default 64) – vertical distance in blocks the pump scans downward for fluid.
• pump_speed (default 20) – ticks between each pump operation (lower is faster).
• consume_source (default true) – whether finite fluid blocks are removed when pumped.
• use_energy (default false) – set true to require energy (FE) to operate.
• energy_per_op (default 100) – energy used per pump operation when use_energy is on.

Open the file in a text editor to see every available field, then restart the game to apply your changes.
