IndyPets Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Independent Pets

IndyPets Mod allows you to toggle the following and teleportation behavior of tamed pets. Simply use the Shift + right-click combo to control their movement. This mechanic also works with creatures added by other mods.

Features:

• Cycle pets between sitting, following, and independent modes using right-click or Shift + right-click.
• Press J to whistle and rally all nearby pets-or dismiss them. Goat Horns can be configured as whistles with custom settings.
• Pets set to independent mode will roam within a configurable area around their “home” location.

Server & Client Support:

• Can run entirely server-side. Vanilla clients can use /indypets commands to control pets.
• Installing client-side adds hotkeys, sound effects, translated messages, and more config options.

Configuration & Commands:

• /indypets whistle and /indypets unwhistle: Control pet behavior via chat.
• /indypets horn: Configure Goat Horns with different whistle modes.
• Interact Hotkey (H): Alternative to Shift + right-click for mod compatibility.
