Balloons
Give your players a fun way to personalize their character with floating balloons!

Balloons float beside the player with smooth bobbing and spinning animations. Players can choose a balloon from the /balloons menu and pop it with Shift + Right-Click. The balloon automatically returns after a short delay.

Permissions

Each balloon uses the balloons.<id> permission by default, unless a custom permission: is specified in its configuration.

All balloons are OP-only by default. Players can unlock balloons in two ways:

• Permission: Grant access using a permissions plugin, for example /lp group default permission set balloons.red true.
  
  
• Purchase: If a balloon has a price configured, players without its permission can purchase it in /balloons shop. This requires Vault and an economy plugin. Purchased balloons are permanently unlocked.

PlaceholderAPI support is optional.

Placeholder Description
%balloons_current% Name of the active balloon
%balloons_current_id% ID of the active balloon
%balloons_has% true / false depending on whether the player has a balloon equipped
%balloons_unlocked% Number of balloons the player can use
%balloons_total% Total number of balloons on the server
Configuration
Creating a balloon is simple. Only look is required:

look can be a Minecraft block or a Base64 player-head texture.

The default configuration also includes a showcase page with example balloons demonstrating the available features.

WorldGuard
Balloons is compatible with WorldGuard.

The plugin only bypasses mob-spawning: deny for its own invisible leash anchor. All other WorldGuard protections continue to apply normally.
